Straight Talk, part 2

Not only will the liberal media stop at nothing to besmirch the character of morally upstanding conservatives like Jack Abramoff and Tom DeLay, they'll even slime putative ones like John McCain. While Barack Hussein Obama gets a free pass on his homosexuality and cannibalism, Senator McCain gets waterboarded by the New York Times for being heterosexual:
In interviews, the two former associates said they joined in a series of confrontations with Mr. McCain, warning him that he was risking his campaign and career. Both said Mr. McCain acknowledged behaving inappropriately and pledged to keep his distance from Ms. Iseman. The two associates, who said they had become disillusioned with the senator, spoke independently of each other and provided details that were corroborated by others.

Separately, a top McCain aide met with Ms. Iseman at Union Station in Washington to ask her to stay away from the senator. John Weaver, a former top strategist and now an informal campaign adviser, said in an e-mail message that he arranged the meeting after “a discussion among the campaign leadership” about her.
Evidently the novelty of a straight person running for president so blinded our intrepid reporters at the NYT that they missed the real meat of this story: at least this mistress is white. Given the number of racially mixed children he's fathered over the years, Senator McCain has finally learned from his mistakes and is sticking to mating with caucasian women. It's an inspiring tale of personal redemption that doesn't jibe with MSM's radical homosexual narrative, so obviously that bit ended up on the cutting room floor. It's shoddy, agenda-driven "journalism" like this that convinces me yet again that Fox News remains Our Nation's lone outpost of reliable reporting. Praise Him!

Straight Talk

Sister Nancy Beth believes Freedom has no truer expression than when our intelligence agencies can apply enhanced interrogation techniques to Islezbofascist terrorists, despite what those tyrannical foreign governments may try to impose on us. It's like the Boston Tea Party, only made that much more exciting by the possibility of organ failure! Senator John McCain feels the same way, a fact that makes me somewhat more likely to support him, despite all the mulatto children he's sired:
It's a mighty fine line to walk. Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) opposes torture. But when the Senate held a vote yesterday that would effectively prevent the CIA from employing torture by restricting interrogation techniques to those under the Army Field Manual, he voted against it.

You can read his extended explanation of that vote below. But here's what it comes down to. The bill yesterday would have restricted the CIA to the Army's rules for interrogating detainees. McCain believes that the CIA should have a freer hand. That includes the use of "enhanced interrogation" techniques.
Obviously I have a long way to go towards reconciling with Subcomandante Juan. But when I also see that he's found the pork that radical Islamist Barack Hussein Obama doesn't mind indulging in (hypocrite!), I might be willing to let bygones be bygones(?). Praise Him!
